The LW-D series incorporates the innovative Wire Drive system, developed to help prevent unwanted and dangerous cable crossings on the winch drum. This facilitates the cable winding/unwinding process and prevents chafing or fraying that could reduce cable life or (in the worst case) cause breakage. Wire Drive consists of a multidirectional spiral pulley that reduces the skew angle between the winch drum and its entry into the first profile, ensuring the tower complies with DIN 56950.
